Payment information

Payments are processed by WooPayments and its payment-processing partners. Payment card details are submitted directly to the payment processor and are not intended to be stored in full on our website. We may receive limited payment-related information, such as a transaction identifier, payment status, billing details, card type, and the last four digits of a card, where made available by the processor.

Cookies and similar technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies. These technologies may be used for the following purposes:

  • Strictly necessary: operating the cart and checkout, remembering account sessions and preferences, processing orders, balancing site traffic, and protecting the site from fraud or abuse.
  • Analytics: understanding visits, traffic sources, device information, approximate geography, and interactions with pages or products. Google Analytics may use a first-party _ga cookie or similar identifiers.
  • Marketing: measuring campaigns, building audiences, and showing or evaluating relevant advertising through services such as Meta and MailerLite, when those features are enabled.
  • Functionality: remembering selections and supporting embedded or connected features.

You can control many cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent the cart, checkout, account, or other features from working correctly. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies, we will use available consent controls before using those technologies.

How we disclose information

We disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to the following categories of recipients:

  • Hosting and website providers: Hostinger hosts the website and related infrastructure. WordPress and WooCommerce provide the content-management and ecommerce systems.
  • Payment providers: WooPayments and its banking or payment partners process payments, refunds, fraud screening, and related services.
  • Fulfillment and shipping providers: Printful and other carriers or fulfillment partners may receive your name, contact details, shipping address, order contents, and customization details when needed to produce and deliver an order.
  • Communications providers: Fluent Forms helps manage form submissions; FluentSMTP and Hostinger/Titan Email transmit operational email; and MailerLite may manage subscriber lists and marketing campaigns.
  • Analytics and advertising providers: Google, including Google Analytics and Site Kit, helps measure site use and performance. Meta for WooCommerce may connect store activity with Facebook or Instagram advertising and measurement when configured.
  • Security, caching, and backup providers: Wordfence, LiteSpeed, Hostinger, and UpdraftPlus may process IP addresses, technical logs, or backup copies as needed to secure, operate, and restore the site.
  • Professional advisers and authorities: accountants, attorneys, insurers, regulators, law enforcement, courts, or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and property.
  • Business transfers: a buyer, successor, or adviser in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, sale, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define certain analytics or advertising disclosures as a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising even when no money changes hands. Where those laws apply, you may request to opt out as described below.

Third-party privacy information

Our service providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. You can learn more from the following resources:

Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. Retention depends on the type of information and our legal, accounting, operational, and security obligations. In general:

  • Order, payment, tax, refund, and fulfillment records may be retained for up to seven years after the transaction, or longer if required by law or an active dispute.
  • Account information is retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, subject to legal recordkeeping requirements.
  • Custom-order files and customer-service communications are retained as needed to complete the order, provide support, document approval, and handle disputes or warranty matters.
  • Contact-form submissions may be retained for up to two years after our last substantive interaction unless a longer period is needed for an order, legal obligation, or dispute.
  • Marketing information is retained until you unsubscribe or we determine the information is no longer needed. We may retain a limited suppression record so we can honor an unsubscribe request.
  • Analytics, security logs, and backups are retained according to configured service settings and operational needs, then deleted or overwritten.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information we maintain about you. You may also have the right to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, sharing, or profiling; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal our response to a request.

To exercise a privacy right, use the Privacy Data Request form below or email info@sassytexandesigns.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” Please identify the right you wish to exercise and the email address associated with your account or order. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and identity verification.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing us with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” You may also contact your state attorney general or other applicable privacy regulator.

Email and marketing choices

You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message or by contacting us. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send non-promotional messages about an order, account, security issue, privacy request, or other transaction.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. These measures include HTTPS encryption, access controls, security monitoring, backups, and reputable payment and hosting providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account or information has been compromised, contact us promptly.
